Original language description
The aim of the paper is to assess strategies for spur tourist activities and endogenous potential of projects that had been implemented as tools for local development. The research is based on secondary and primary data analysis and was focused on the most significant tourism areas in the Zlín region, especially in districts as Kroměříž, Vsetín and Zlín. Authors applied quantitative methodology for classify municipalities according to chosen variables derived from regional budgetary of Ministry of finances in Czech Republic and primary official document of municipalities and they emphasize the coherence between dimension of municipalities, the degree of diversification of economy and the sufficiency in the expenditures for maintaining touristic monuments and richness. The approach is also linked to the economy of culture and budgets of municipalities in particular with preservation of cultural heritage. Results are significant and it confirms that the maintaining of culture sites in Zlin region are in prospective development and are well maintained.
