Evaluating publication trends and internationalization of selected SSH journals: evidence from Czech Republic and Poland
Original language description
The aim of this study is to provide an analysis of publication trends in re-gard to the internationalization of four different disciplines (Anthropology, Political Science, History, Art history) in two countries of Central-Eastern Europe (Czech Republic and Poland). For each of these disciplines, one journal per country with a general and disciplinary role was chosen and studied in relation to internationalization trends. Issues of authors not residing at the institutions based in the given countries, publishing trends in English and other international languages are addressed, while the con-text of turbulent changes in research evaluation practice in the given coun-tries is discussed as well.
