    Mathematical Model to Design Experiment Arrangement of Induction Furnace with Cold Crucible

    This article deals with a mathematical model of induction furnace with a cold crucible for melting of electrically non-conductive materials. The main purpose of the research is creating a mathematical model enabling fast and correct determination of geometrical and electrical parameters for an arrangement of an induction furnace with the cold crucible for various experiments. The mathematical model was created using ANSYS APDL and it includes the electromagnetic problem. The two kinds of verification considering several electrical parameters were carried out and the calculated results were compared with the measured ones.
