In this work we suggest the method for full assessment of the ion exchange resin effectiveness in the EDI process. This method based on studying of ion exchange kinetic. Proposed method include experimentally determination of 5 parameters such as specific gravity, particle size distribution, total mass ion exchange capacity, water content and speed constant of ion exchange kinetic (parameter k). By using of these parameters the area conductivity can be calculated for comparison of ion exchange resin.
