    Polymer Blending for Advanced Gas Separation Membrane Materials

  • Original language description

    Polymer blends can be promising materials for membranes. In this work, we use a polymer blend to increase the permeability of polyetherimide membranes. Ultem 1000 was used as the main polymer component and was combined with Matrimid 5218 or another polyimide equivalent. The membranes were tested for gas permeability and their microstructure was studied using microscopy and DSC.
