Health Status, Cancer and Pneumonia Death Rates in Europe: 2019–2022
Original language description
Czech Republic, together with other European countries, faced the COVID-19 pandemic in recent years, and together with pandemic tasks, it has solved questions related to other diseases, such as cancer and pneumonia. This chapter introduces the health profiles of EU-27 countries from 2019 to 2022. It constructs a health profile scale for EU-27 member states in relation to pneumonia and cancer deaths and analyzes regional similarities and differences. The Health 2020 framework addresses common challenges and promotes overall health and well-being. The unified EU response to COVID-19 aims to standardize health assessments and measures across member states. The pneumonia mortality rate is influenced by the healthcare score.
