Original language description
The current paper presents an algorithm, using MATLAB/Simulink software to investigate the vertical dynamic response of a virtual railway freight wagon modeled as a 3DOF mechanical system. The objective of this paper is to give an overview of what the effects will be of altering vehicle parameters such as moving the center of mass of the mechanical system out of phase with the system's geometric center of gravity due to asymmetry loading of the virtual railway vehicle model.
