Research of Application Possibilities of Selected Mechanically Alloyed Metal Powders

  • Original language description

Mechanical alloying is a complex process involving many process variables. Some of them cannot be influenced, but some can be optimized to achieve the desired properties and structure. Process variables are called so because if one variable Paper is interested in the study of basic theoretical knowledge from the problems of preparation of nanoparticles and micro particles and their mechanical synthesis. Also, the possibility of producing of new materials by mechanical alloying of metal powders evaluation of these newly created materials from the point of morphology and surface condition, as well as physical (e.g. electrical charge) and chemical (surface treatment). In the theoretical part are described the general principles of small particle production, production equipment, properties of these particles, the ways in which the particles are divided according to the size of the fraction, evaluation and measurement of fractions size, grain morphology and description of used apparatus. As a result, graphical dependencies according to the various input parameters of milling are determined and SEM analysis determines the morphology of grains and their size.
