    Geopolymer Composite Materials with Fire Protection Potential

    The experiment showed that sawdust can be used as one of the possible admixtures to alkali-activated materials based on fly-ash. However the results can also illustrate that growing quantity of sawdust decreases the compressive strength of the samples. So that?s why it was decided to study further properties of these composites, such as bending tensile strength, thermo-physical properties (heat conduction, heat capacity, fire resistance, deformations under the temperature) and others. Next deeper research will allow us to find next interesting conclusions about the optimal quantity of sawdust in these composites and future possibilities of their usage according to excellent properties of such materials.
