The paper points out at certain persisting attitudes of pre-primary and primary schools teachers which represent an obstacle for full implementation of the education programme "Education to Health". Similarly to the results of the study about the work ofprimary school teachers following the Standards of education towards healthy lifestyle from the year 2000, also the current education programmes of kindergartens and primary schools include only rarely or do not include at all the areas of prevention ofdrug abuse (in particular of illegal drugs) and the sexual education (including sexual abuse). The approach of teachers towards an open education in these areas which touch also upon the intimity of family life is influenced by their knowledge, belief and personal experience. Also education in the area of first aid and medical skills still lacks a systemic approach.
