Original language description
The paper deals with the preparation of research analysis of the current state of primary information technology literacy and summarizes the first results of a survey. Theoretically, it describes the concept of literacy and primary information literacy and it introduces the theoretical presuppositions of information literacy based on the curricula documents. The paper proposes specific options for mapping current level of information literacy of pupils coming to 1st grade of primary school and it evaluates their teachers' competencies to primary information education.
