The Health Education and Alcohol Intake Among the Students of High Schools in Usti nad Labem Region

The article focuses on problems of health education, The alcohol intake by students of high schools in Usti nad Labem region was considered. Researches, that were realised in 2012 and 2013, evaluated 2667 students from 28 different high schools in Usti and Labem region. The questionnaire was made in accordance to czech version of European Model Questionnaire (EMQ) which examined the consumption and attitudes associated with alcohol. The Questionnaires were also accompanied by assessments of each preventive educational activity organised by schools. Our results show 88% students reported consuming alcohol in the last year, 74% consumed alcohol in last month. 31% of students consume alcohol least once a week whilst 62% of students do not have object (mind) to consuming one or two alcoholic beverages several times a week.
