The Relevance of Repeated Pupils' Creativity Testing Results
Original language description
Repeated pupils' creativity testing results within one school year are discussed in the paper. 211 primary school pupils of the 4 and the 5 form were tested. The first tests were carried out in October 2017 and a repeated survey was conducted in June 2018. The main diction of the survey is to describe the difference in test results in relation to the date when the testing took place. Standardized Urban's Figurative Test of Creative Thinking and non-standardized simplified Guilford's Alternative Uses Test were used for the research. We had assumed that there would be statistically significant differences between the results of the two measurements in favour of the second measurement, given that the respondents were almost one year older. In both tests, however, there was a significant deterioration in results compared to the first round of testing. The median in Urban's Figurative Test fell from 22.00 in October 2017 to 18.00 in June 2018 and Guilford's Test from 45.00 to 40.00. Possible causes are discussed in the text.
