Original language description

The Ore Mountains and their surroundings are a region whose landscape has been much damaged, natural resources exploited and where many changes in residential structure have occurred during the past 40 years due to industrial and mining activities. Anthropogenic strain has affected the landscape, settlements as well as people. After 1990 there were some changes followed by a decrease in mining, industrial activities as well as of agricultural production. Due to the transformation to market economy therewere problems of landscape utilization, in the rural areas, in the economic and social areas as well. The project focusing on ?A model solution of revitalisation of industrial regions and areas affected by coal mining on the example of the Ore Mountainsregion? could help to deal with the regional disparities.

Czech description

Podkrušnohoří je oblastí, kde posledních 40 let docházelo v důsledku průmyslové a důlní činnosti k silnému poškození krajiny, k exploataci přírodních zdrojů a změnám sídelní struktůry. Antropogenní zátěž poznamenala krajinu, sídla i obyvatelstvo. Po r. 1990 dochází ke změnám, útlumu těžby, průmyslové činnosti ale i zemědělské produkce. Z důvodů transformace na ekonomiku tržního typu se vyskytují problémy ve využití krajiny, ve venkovském prostoru, v oblasti ekonomické i sociální. Projekt zaměřený na ?Modelové řešení revitalizace území průmyslových regionů a území po těžbě uhlí na příkladu Podkrušnohoří? může přispět k řešení regionálních disparit.
