(Can not write to system VAVER in Japanese language!) The positioning device of the present invention includes a flat horizontal member provided on braces. The height of the braces is adjustable such that the flat horizontal member can be provided parallel to a road surface. The flat horizontal member is strongly connected to a vertical lever of a holder. The holder is slidably provided on the vertical lever such that the positioning device can be mounted at a center of a hub of a wheel. Mounting means for slidably mounting the holder to the vertical lever is engageable. There are provided, at an outer edge of the flat horizontal member, marks for placing a sound pressure sensor, and lines extending from the marks on the flat horizontal member and having a common point that is called an intersection point for directing the sound pressure sensor to a contact point between the closest-approaching part of a tire and a measurement surface of a road.
