The paper also summarizes approaches and metrics in Physical Protection employed in the nuclear sector that are generally applicable in critical infrastructurehigh-risk facilities. The main contribution of this paper and the R&D project - that develops the tool HUSFO - is to significantly enhance and precision the effectiveness evaluation process.
