In December 2004, the Czech Republic's Trade Union of Workers in the Woodworking Industry, Forestry and Water Management (OS DLV) issued a strike warning. The union is dissatisfied with the state of collective bargaining in the forestry and the woodworking industry, and concerned about employment in these sectors.

Czech description
Odborový svaz pracovníků dřevozpracujících odvětví, lesního a vodního hospodářství v ČR vstoupil ve 2. pol. prosince 2004 do stávkové pohotovosti. Důvodem je neuspokojivý stav kolektivního vyjednávání s organizacemi zaměstnavatelů v odvětvích lesního hospodářství a dřevozpracujícího průmyslu, jakož i potenciálně zhoršená situace v oblasti zaměstnanosti v těchto sektorech.
