Original language description
A presentation made at regular meeting of OECD NEA working group on common cause failures (ICDE), 23.5.-25.5.2013 in Paris. The presentation brings an overview of analysis, modeling and solution of the topic of common cause failures (CCFs) in PSA studiesdeveloped for Czech NPPs. In the introductory part, the presentation summarizes information about PSA projects for Czech NPPs as well as some interesting facts about PSA applications. The operational history of NPP Dukovany is analyzed from point of view of CCF occurrence. The relation between the character of CCF events and the level of system redundancy is studied. Some conclusions regarding CCF occurrence potential in operation of Czech NPPs are made in the final part of the presentation.
