Determination of particle shape and size distribution of model types of nanomaterials
Original language description
Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), acoustic spectrometry, X-ray disc centrifuge system and methods based on the light scattering were used in this work to characterize particles of two selected model types of nanomaterials ? colloidal silica and sodium montmorillonite. Silica represents a material with spherical particles. Tabular shapes are typical for montmorillonite materials.
