Motion equations in dynamics of mechanisms with flexible links
Original language description
Since many real bodies behave more or less as flexible under operation conditions, it is often necessary to respect this fact in computational models. In addition to so-called "large" geometrically nonlinear motions, elastic bodies also perform "small" motions due to their deformations, which are superimposed on large motions. The large motions are referred to the motions that are comparable to those of rigid bodies. Only elastic deformations of these bodies are assumed, the description of which depends on the accepted model of deformation field distribution.
