The program APROX is one of the basic computation programs of VÚTS in the field of preparing the manufacturing data of of cams. It is about the approximation of the position polar coordinates of any equidistant with respect to the contour of the cam. This approximation is most often used for spare cams for which only the measured values of the working surface area (cam contour) are available.
