The weld quality comparing of polypropylene depending on the mould temperature
Original language description
One of the ways, the non-rewirable concentration of plastic parts is the plastics welding technology. By usage of ultrasonic welding (which is well proven for example in the automotive industry and electrical engineering), welded joint was created on thetested part, which was produced by injection technology by different mould temperatures. This paper deals with comparing the weld quality in two completely different types of polypropylene. The weld quality is here assessed in terms of the shear strength. The result is analyzing influence of mould temperature on the shear strength of the weld and the subsequent comparison of these values for nanocomposite polypropylene and polypropylene Mosten.
