    Metal sheets formability on high strain rates

  • Original language description

    One of the most important factors which can influence formability of materials is strain rate. Such factor is influencing final mechanical properties of formed materials. Aim of paper is for chosen types of deep-drawing sheets find influence of strain rate onto mechanical properties of individual types of materials. Because of this reason was in the department of engineering technology designed device which enables to measure basic mechanical properties of thin sheets under higher strain rates until theloading speed 4 m/s. The results of tests are presented in the paper.
