Structure Modelling of Threaded Machine Parts for Calculations Using Finite Element Analysis
Original language description
This article compares computed results of loaded threaded bolt shank using FEA in question, as for stresses, deformations and rigidities is concerned. For modelling of threaded machine parts for finite element analysis (FEA) two different structures areusually applied. The first option may be threaded structure symmetrical about one centre-line, which has an advantage of simple modelling or programming. The second, more authentic one, enables us to gain more precise results. However, modelling or programming procedures are not so easy matter.
