Original language description
This paper deals with production systems design and more specifically, with possibilities of the integration of particular software tools used in this area of industrial engineering. These tools are used traditionally separately or with low level of dataintegration within projects and it can be limiting factor for layout design rapidly and efficiently which belong to desired properties in process of design. From these and another reasons, it was suggested a unified system, in which programs as WitnessSimulation Tool and AutoCAD (layout design) are connected into common database (MS Access).In the paper, there is described interconnection of particular tools, principles of integration, functions of tools and other possibilities (especially automatic generation of simulation models from database, generation of different variants of project layouts and optimal disposition of facilities according to material flows.
