Study of geometrical model parameters for simplification of tooth system effect
Original language description
This study deals with the numerical analysis of geometrical parameters used for the simplified simulation of tooth wheels. Geometrical parameters such as the distance between discs and the size of the wall roughness have a fundamental influence on the oil flows inside the gear-box. The purpose of the study is to find out an optimal set up, which accurately corresponds to real effects in the gearing. For the numerical simulation, commercial software Fluent is used.
