Influence of Different Gas-Schielded Types on Weld Pool´s Geometry for MIG Welding Method
Original language description
Knowledge of final weld pool?s geometry is nevertheless important both from design or technological point of view and also for using at simulations. This paper has aim to present influence of different gas-shielded types on weld pool?s geometry during welding of ultra high-alloyed austenitic steels by 131 method. In paper are evaluated results from experimentally manufactured fillet welds from material X5CrNi1810 on specimens from sheets of 4 mm thickness. For experimental part were used three differentgas-shielded types from AIR Product company ? namely: Ar/He 66/34, Ar/O2 98/2 and Ar/CO2 98/2.
