The article is focused on the area of influence of employees within the introduced concept of lean production in flexible manufacturing system company MODUS, spol. s r.o.. Over the past few years, introduced various tools of lean production in manufacturing, sometimes with varying success. One of the parameters that can significantly affect the success of these tools applied and thereby affect the competitiveness of whole company is employee access to whole concept or individual projects. Responding tolean production can vary greatly and blind application of lean manufacturing methods guarantee success but rather failure. The examples of already implemented projects under the concept of lean production can present different problems in the area of influence of employees that had to be resolved and to highlight the critical connection in this area.
