Innovation of car seats in term of komfort
Original language description
The present approach to seat innovation is to decrease price and the weight of the seat with fulfilling the comfort and safety requirements. The polyurethane foam is used as the deformable comfort layer. Thanks to CAE is possible to reduce the volume ofPU foam with respect the static and dynamic comfort. The first part of this article describes the validation of the used material model. Static analysis of the seat loading test is very important for the predicting of equilibrium position of the human body and the seat, which is important for passive safety features such as airbags. This article also describes the using of CAE methods in new concept of cushion design development and validation. The using of sandwich design is the main aim in term of decreasing the pressure peaks in contact area of pelvis and total contact area.
