Original language description
The development of new combustion powertrain is connected to the effort to increase the mechanical efficiency and to reduce mechanical losses of combustion engines. Increasing the overall efficiency is important for reducing fuel consumption and for reducing emissions in the exhaust. At the Technical University in Liberec at the Department of Vehicles and Engines for this purpose has been developed the measuring station for measuring mechanical losses combustion engines under various operating conditions (temperature of the lubricating oil, coolant temperature and engine speed). The test station has an automatic system to store the required measurement data (loss torque of the combustion engine operating conditions such as temperature, pressure).
