Original language description
Determining the electrical components anchoring resistance against vibrations in the combination with the thermal load was this testing purpose. The case with electrical components was placed in the thermal box and warmed to 100 °C. Then it was exposed to vibrations in accordance with the standard EN 60068-2-6 gradually in all three axes. Fasteners periodic visual inspection was carried out during the test. Design of the testing equipment for the thermal-vibration tests and testing methodology is described in this paper.
