    Characteristics of cushion made of PU foam together with coats defin athe comfort of automobile seats. The frame of a car seat with cushion of the PU foam and cover serve as a body rest.They also meet safetyrules, which are put on the car seat.The cushion in the car seat is basically manufactured of PU foam.Experimental testing of its properties investigates the correlation between its characteristic and comfort.One tzpe of experiment is the combination of a static and dynamic loading in medium time interval.The subject of the research and the contents of thi s paper is recognition of transmission characteristic and contact pressures of cushion of PU foam in interval of two hours under static and dynamic weight constant loading.
