The article deals with the analysis of the process of yarn ballooning with the formation of multiple balloons. Ballooning plays a vital role in the production of composite nanofiber yarn. To achieve an even quality layer of nanofibers, a stable balloon shape is necessary to ensure. To do this, it is necessary to determine the influence of the individual production parameters and find their optimal values. Numerical simulations of balloon shape as a function of yarn tension were performed. The results were verified experimentally
