Dependability and performance of devices
Original language description
Dependability (reliability) is one of the most important factors of industrial equipment and defines quality of manufacturing devices. Many devices operate in different performance levels. The performance level depends on requirements (level of power supcommunication services, etc.) or existing situation (failures, non-operating states etc.). Relation between performance level and dependability performance measures of devices (especially complex and standby structures) is obvious in many cases. Thereforquantification of dependability performance measures as a dependence of performance level is needed. The dependability performance measures determined in this way are important factor of economic efficiency assess of devices. An example of solving of dependability performance measure as dependence of performance level is presented.
