Mixed Hybrid Model of Flow in Combustion Engine
Original language description
The main goal of the contribution is to present the modelling of processes in combustion engine. The modelling was motivated by the aim of computation of production of nitrogen oxides during the work cycle of such engine. For that purpose, the flow of compressible gas in the engine is modelled first. Then the model of heat and mass transport follows and then the model of chemical reactions is developed. "For modelling of flow, the mixed hybrid finite element method is used; the other models are modelledby the finite volume method."
