    First Steps to Modelling of Processes in Combustion Engine

  • Original language description

    The contribution will be focused on introduction to mixed hybrid model of flow and gas transport in combustion engine. The modelling is motivated by aim of prediction of production of NOx during work cycle of such engine. After description of the governing equations of flow, deriving the weak solution and applying the finite element method, the ideas of transport model and model of chemical reactions will be presented and the very first results of computations will be discussed.
