Model of Processes in Combustion Engine
Original language description
The main goal of the contribution is to present the modelling of flow, mass and energy transport, and combustion processes in combustion engine. The modelling was motivated by the aim of computation of production of nitrogen oxides during the work cycleof such engine. For that purpose, the flow of compressible gas in the engine has to be modelled first. Then the model of heat and mass transport follows and then the model of chemical reactions has to be developed. This article talks mainly about the first part of such modelling -- the mass flow model based on the Navier-Stokes equation and unsteady compressible continuity equation with boundary conditions of Dirichlet and/or Newton types and the initial conditions. The other parts of the model are mentioned, too. Very brief conslusion concerning not yet completely debugged algorithmisation of the model is included.
