    Models of hydro geological processes

    The paper presents mathematical model of hydrogeological processes within significantly heterogeneous rock environment. The model is based on the mixed-hybrid formulation. For its approximation is used the finite element method. Owing to the complicatedrock environment, the model enables to involve elements of different dimensions to be eligible to involve hydraulically significant fractures and fracture zone and by the same time the domain could be of regional scope. For the presentation of some realapplications of the model were selected two localities ? the locality around Melechov rock massif (in the central part of Czech Republic) and the locality Cajamarca (highland part in Peru). Both of the localities are presented from the geological and hydrogeological points of view at first. Then, the model inputs and some of the simulation results are introduced.

    Článek prezentuje matematický model toku podzemních vod ve výrazně heterogenním prostředí. Model je založený na smíšené hybridní formulaci a na aproximaci metodou konečných prvků. Model umožňuje zahrnout elementy různých dimenzí a umožňuje tak přirozenoureprezentaci geologických struktur jakoj sou pukliny a puklinové zóny ve 3D simulované oblasti. článek dále prezentuje dvě reálné úlohy, ve kterých byl použit uvedený přístup.
