Over the years, the focus on human reliability analysis in maintenance is taking more and more importance. In despite of it, human failures in maintenance and consequently possible latent malfunctions are still source of system blackouts and safety problems. Monetary damages from human failures in maintenance happen one of the biggest item of budget in lot of companies. Popularization and actual implementation of new methods of assessing human performance in maintenance faces many challenges. In order to successfully fulfill their role, their real application has to be approved by company management and also have influence the organizational structure and provide the necessary new managerial control. This managerial control becomes a major obstacle tothe implementation of these methods in practice.
