Optimal Control Structure of Infrared Heating System
Original language description
This paper discusses the optimal control structure (for the chosen control algorithm) of the heating system, for which an infrared radiator system is used as heat source. This heating system is developed for the low-volume or duplicate industrial production line. From the control point of view, the heating system is an extensive MIMO system, which has to meet the conditions of the required product quality and its purchasing price limits and the expenses spent on manufacturing of each product. A thin wall form with complicated shape was used as the manufacturing tool. This thin wall form needed to be heated up at the temperature defined by the technology in-use. Different algorithms for optimal control structure determination are discussed in this article. The optimization of control structure is focused on the temperature field quality and the maximal speed of the heating process. The controller uses standard PID and this paper deals with methods for optimal pairing of heat sensors wit
