Control Method of Infrared Heating System
Original language description
This paper discusses a complex control system design of heating system, for which an infrared radiator system is used as a heat source. This heating system is developed for the low-volume industrial production line. From the control point of view, the design involves an extensive MIMO control system design, which has to meet the conditions of the required product quality and its purchasing price limits and expenses spent on manufacturing of each product. A complicated shape thin-wall form was used as the manufacturing tool. This thin wall form needed to be heated up at the temperature defined by the technology in-use. Different control algorithms are disused in this article. The design of control algorithm is focused on the temperature field quality and maximal speed of heating process. The implementation of controller is described for the optimal control algorithm. The implementation depends on the hardware equipment of the developed production line.
