The application of various current-sensing devices for induction motor fault diagnostics
Original language description
In this paper, various approaches for induction motor fault diagnostics based on stator current analysis are described. Basic characteristics and advantages of each method are presented and compared. Further, the sensitivity of each method to the bandwidth-limited input signal is evaluated by simulations based on real data. Special emphasis is placed on demodulation methods. Different approaches for demodulation methods and their results with the use of non-distorting and distorting current sensing devices are compared.
