  • Original language description

Team roles, personal character, or temperament play a key role in team management. The unique approach brought by dr. M. Belbin - Belbin Team Roles, is used both in education and research, as well as professional consultancy. But full-scale research on team roles in family businesses was not carried out, which creates a gap in an understanding of this specific form of human economic activity - family business. The aim of this article is to show methodology that is being used in the research of team roles in family businesses with connection to family business quality on one specific Czech company, that was evaluated using Belbin Team Roles 360 degrees analysis and Family Business Quality self-evaluating questionnaire. This case study lays down basis for future research.
