How selected employees in accounting positions in the Czech Republic perceive artificial intelligence
Original language description
The article deals with how selected employees from the accounting profession in the Czech Republic perceive artificial intelligence. And it’s not only employees in the accounting profession that perceive artificial intelligence differently. Some employees perceive it as competition that may replace them in their jobs in the near future. In contrast, other employees see AI as an assistant that helps them with many routine tasks. In the framework of the theoretical part, the concept of artificial intelligence, machine learning and Robotic process automation is defined. Artificial intelligence works using a machine learning algorithm. Furthermore, this part of the article is focused on the history of artificial intelligence and its composition. The final part of the theoretical part is devoted to implementation of artificial intelligence in accounting. The second part of the article is the practical part, which describes the conducted research that 50 respondents from selected companies based in the Czech Republic took part in. The data for the processing of the research was collected using a questionnaire survey, which was created with the help of the Survio program. The results of the questionnaire survey were graphically processed, described and evaluated.
