Original language description
Geometrical characteristics of textile fabrics are very important in evaluation and simulation a lot of fabric properties. One from among them is the air permeability. A series of research works occupy with description of relationship between the air permeability and the structure of textile fabric. In this case is the structure presented by the porosity. For determination of the porosity exist a number of theoretical and experimental methods. Every method includes some simplifying assumptions, which cause the inaccuracy. Main aim of this paper is describe some this models and propose a new model of woven fabric porosity.
