Original language description
The fabric is formed on the weaving machine during the beat-up process. This process determines the fabric structure and its quality. The present paper deals with a theoretical description of the traditional Brierley theory (from a viewpoint of a weavingresistance dependence on a weft soft) and this theory is confronted with the results of the measurements. This confrontation shows the good correspondence of the Brierley theory with the measured values.
