Yarn hairiness is very important parameter of yarn. The concept of hairiness as a quantitative parameter of yarn was firstly presented about 1952. Since the time a lot of instruments and technique for yarn hairiness evaluation was developed. In this article a special optical method for yarn hairiness observation will be presented.

Chlupatost příze je velmi důležitý parametr příze. Koncept hodnocení chlupatosti byl poprvéprezentován roku 1952. Od té doby byla vyvinuta řada měřících zařízení metodik hodnocneí chlupatosti příze. V tomto příspěvku je představena speciální metodika hodnocení chlupatosti optickým způsobem.
