Optical approach to the yarn hairiness determination

Original language description

Yarn hairiness is very important parameter of yarn. The concept of hairiness as a quantitative parameter of yarn was firstly mentioned about 1952. Since that time a lot of instruments and technique for yarn hairiness evaluation was developed [1]. A special optical method for yarn hairiness observation developed at Technical University of Liberec proposed to measure various parameters of yarn. Two optical methods for obtaining image of yarn were used. The influence of using method on hairiness characteristic will be discussed.

Czech description

Chlupatost je důležitým parametrem příze. Koncept chlupatosti je poprvé zmiňován v roce 1952. Od té doby byla vyvinuta řada měřících zařízení metodik hodnocneí chlupatosti příze. Speciální optická metodika pro sledování chlupatosti příze byla vyvinuta naTUL. Tento přístup umožňuje hodnocení různých parametrů příze. Pro získání profilu příze byly použity dvě optické metody.Předmětem diskuse je vliv použité metody na charakteristiky chlupatosti.
