Original language description
The influence of mechanical activation of fly ash via ball milling process on the tailoring of properties of geopolymer has been investigated. Fly ash was mechanically activated through particle size refinement from micro to nano scale by milling 1 hr to5 hr in wet conditions. Significant increase in compression strength was observed for dried milled fly ash eopolymers whereas significant loss in compression strength was observed for water dispersion fly ash geopolymers.
