Original language description
The objective of this work was to use the spinning waste in form of short fibers for the preparation of nano whiskers of cellulose as reinforcement in nanocomposite applications such as in food packaging films and agriculture ground covers. Jute fibers were chemically treated first to remove noncellulosic contents and then pulverized by high energy planetary ball milling process in dry and wet condition.
